2010.....

WOW! what a roller coaster of a ride this whole year has been....busy busy little bees we artists are! This whole year was full of ups and downs, trials and tribulations,as an artist and a person I have seen myself grow, as i am forever a student and much more work is ahead of me, but i must not get comfortable. Overall it was a great year, had a lot of bumps and bruises along the way but no one ever said the road was gonna be easy, what or where this next year has in store for me ? i do not know, but i will be ready with a paint brush and a pencil in hand!

John singer sargent study

So as of late ive made more of a conscious effort to study
from the old masters, first on the list.... john singer Sargent!
the goal of this study was brush stroke economy and to
paint opaquely to get that painterly look, i also gave my self
a time limit of one hour to see how much i could get done, so i
dont get caught up in rendering and the small details.

A fellow friend and Artist ( Kalen Choc) said i need to do
more studies! And he was certainly right, im definitely gonna
do 2-3 studie a day before i start my day. Each one took about
1 hour each.

Vampire Lord

He was once a grave robber, going from grave to grave robbing dead deceased bodies of there loot. Cursed for eternity by Hades for robbing and defiling his sacred monumental graveyard, now he wanders the battle fields and graveyards feasting on dead bodies and souls, as he walks across dead bodies, his gown sucks up dead lifeless souls where they will be forever trapped, constantly tugging and pulling trying to get out.
